Tights: Happy Socks. Everything else: Same old stuff.
Finally got those tights I’d been lusting after for a year. Actually, I bought them a while ago but it hasn’t been cool enough to wear tights until recently. They’re crazy itchy so I have to wear another (softer, much more comfortable) pair underneath, but they’re hella cute. And I couldn’t resist pairing them with my polkadot dress.
Speaking of happy legs…
My eldest, Z, started kindergarten a month ago. His school has a code of dress: collared white, navy blue or burgundy shirts/sweaters/vests and khaki, navy blue, or blue/red plaid pants.
Naturally, I had to find him a pair of plaid pants. What’s up, Ebay?!
Loves him some piggies!
And check out that super cute lunchbox I found on sale at gap.com. OMGizzle.
Everyone at school can’t stop talking about his awesome plaid pants. “He’s the best dressed kid in school!” one of the teachers told me.
That’s my boy.
It’s been a while. Since we last talked my eldest turned FIVE.
Just a bunch of goofs.
O, Z. My pensive, sensitive little dinosaur. I love you like whoa.
Z starts kindergarten in the fall and that’s all I’m gonna say because I don’t want to wahhhhhhh all over this blog. Too much of the emotions.
What I’ve been wearing:
My favorite dress paired with Thakoon for Target skirt and Biviel t-straps
Goorin hat, Ralph Lauren Rugby shirt, J. Crew pants, otbt booties
I love me some Happy Socks.
I found this really cute Gap dress at Buffalo Exchange:
It matches my Chie Miharas perfectly.
And here’s a little piece I like to call Defying Gravity:
Sweater and Skirt: Fossil. Polo: AE. Tights and Socks: Sock Dreams. Boots: Tretorn.
More chunky sweater goodness.
I’m so excited about my little-big sister Bethany, brother-in-law Josh and nephew Ezra visiting for Christmas! Can’t. Wait. It feels like ages since we’ve seen each other, but apparently we visited in March? What’s that good old trite phrase again? Oh, right. Time Flies. But it’s so true. River is a tank already and I’ve only got two* weeks left of maternity leave… oh, and I’m THIRTY-ONE now. I was too busy pushing out a baby to really focus long and hard on the fact that I am getting old…er.
Man, I’m such a whiner.
Not too much more to say so here’s my ever-growing Christmas/general want list (no pressure):
OTBT Rockdale bootie
ASOS Premium Belted Coat
Happy Socks big dot tights
4.Miz Mooz Dorian flat in grey. Dorian Grey. HA!
*ETA: Just re-calculated and realized I have THREE weeks left. WEEEEEE!
