I scored some cute Jeffrey Campbell slingbacks several months ago and now that the weather is warming up I’m finally gonna be able to take them out on the town. They were like, zero dollars. Literally. I used some credit that I had saved up at Give and Take, huzzah!
I found this mauve trenchcoat at House of Vintage and I couldn’t leave it behind. I love it and yet I am slightly embarrassed by it. I might have it altered in some way. I love the puffed shoulders and the slightly flared skirt.
Tiger Army bandana (so full of holes!), Target cardigan, thrifted dress, HUE tights, Born brogues (these ARE actually comfortable unlike my other Born shoes)
Whoops, no green here. Too bad I don’t have the green version of this dress:
Today we went to Powells so that Andy could sell some books and buy some new ones and the boys could waffle over which corny Thomas book they would choose. I got nothing since I have an itchy Amazon trigger finger and have far too many ebooks and library books that need to be read.
And in about…8 minutes Andy and I are having a North and South viewing party with some friends and I am EXCITED!
That’ll do, pig. That’ll do.

I told you I love this shirt, didn’t I? I’m wearing it out, yo: I’ve found two holes in it already! Damn you, JCrew Factory, with your tissue tees that rip like actual toilet paper! I’m not flushing it down the toilet just yet though. I’m sure I have a needle and thread around here somewhere…
Eh, I’ll just send it to the cleaners.
You’ll totally care about this next bit: this dress gapes in the front so I pinned it up with my super cute Atlantic Treefox cross-stitched buttons. GASP.
Me: TA DA!!!! I pinned it!
Andy: Did you pin your pins on Pinterest?
Me: No, I pinned my dress.
Andy: But did you pin your dress that you pinned on Pinterest?
Ba dum chhhhh.
The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree: turns out a lot of people in my family liked to take pictures on porches.
I love this picture so hard.
Have I mentioned that I love suspenders?
Best. coat. ever.
A family member posted these pictures on the family Facebook page a while ago and I snatched them up right quick. I’ll admit to not knowing who a good number of these people are, and I don’t think he does either. It’ll be fun to piece together eventually, but for now, I love looking at them and getting lost in the little details.
